The ICT Recourse Center at Fatma Teachers’ Training College is present at the First floor of Room No. 13 with the internet and multimedia facilities. Laboratory is equipped with latest technology for the benefit of the pupil teachers. Pupil teachers can use projector and work independently on PowerPoint Projects, Excel, Spreadsheets, MS-Access, Windows and print etc.

Computers are used actively in education to improve the quality and learning outcomes. Teachers can use audio, video and graphics aids through computer to prepare lesson plans. The use of Microsoft Power Point to prepare and deliver electronic presentations to the audiences is a very good aspect of interactive pedagogy. These electronic presentations will be displayed on multimedia projectors in the class rooms where everyone will be engaged in the modern teaching methodology. This will be interesting and easy to learn by the pupil teachers. Multimedia presentations are easy to deliver by the teachers and for interactive participatory pedagogy.

These presentations save a lot of efforts and time and ensure increase productivity in the overall classroom management. Moreover, multimedia presentations are interesting to view and hear and sound, visual effects make lectures much emphatic. Computers have touched the lives of many students living in the remotest part of our planet. There is no point denying the way that computers absolutely controlled the life of a typical student either graduate or undergraduate.


The curriculum laboratory at Fatma Teachers' Training College is present in the first floor of Room no-17 of the college. The area of this laboratory is 1350.66 Sqm. Curriculum laboratory contains Subjects laboratories. Major among these includes laboratory for psychology, Biology Physics and subjects like social science. Teachers for every subject are available for every laboratory who give practical knowledge to students through experiments as for their time table.

The Objectives of the Curriculum Laboratory

  • Applying concepts learned in class to new situations.
  • Actualizing skills and knowledge.
  • Developing scientific understanding of the physical world.
  • Develop mental and functional abilities.
  • Develop the ability to express oneself coherently and logically.
  • To develop the ability to establish theoretical knowledge.

The Uses of Curriculum Laboratory:-

  • With the establishment of laboratory students can be provided practical and real education instead of bookish and theoretical education.
  • In the laboratory students are taught to do any work in a planned and organized manner.
  • Working in laboratory develops observation reassigning scientific attitude etc. in students.
  • Through laboratory students interest in the subject increases and their learning increases.
  • Creative powers of students develop.
  • Actual knowledge of students is increased.


A Music Room is present which includes all the necessary things required to practice, teach and perform Music. Our Instruments include Drums, Keyboard, Guitar, Mandar, etc. Regular music periods are allotted in the routine and a separate specialized Music Teacher is appointed to grow the creative minds of the student.


The Health and Physical Resource Center at FATMA TEACHERS’ TRAINING COLLEGE is present in the first floor of Room no. of the college. The area of health and physical resource center is 810 Sq.Ft This room has various sports equipment for the students. This room is specially designed for indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, Ludo etc. Various sports equipment is also available in this room for the students like cricket. Equipment like Ball, Wicket, Volleyball, Badminton, Shuttlecock, Shot Put, Javelin, Medicine Ball, Baton, Yoga Mat are also available which play an important role in mental and physical development through these games. In this sports room, there is a wall painting in which Surya Namaskar has been depicted step by step in a very good manner and it also has photographs of players belonging to different sports of India. There is a store box in the Sports room where jerseys and flags are kept.

Objective of the Health and Physical Resource Center

  • To develop important aspects of cognitive and psychosocial development.
  • To provide greater health benefits to the students.
  • To develop co-ed participation and ability to learn team strategy.
  • To develop self-efficiency in the students.
  • Physical activity for healthy growth and development.
  • Improve motor skills, body composition and metabolic health.



Good communication skills are indispensable for the success of the teaching profession. Language, in particular, has become essential in lives of young teachers who aspire to advance their language skills anywhere in the world. Language learning is not the same as learning any other subjects. The four skills such as Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing have to be practiced. Being able to communicate well is more important in the field of teaching. So, Fatma Teachers’ Training College has adopted special methods to develop good communication skills. One among them is the usage of language laboratory.

Language laboratory is the platform where one can learn language in effective and skillful ways. Our Language Laboratory is an audio-visual installation used as an aid in Modern Language Lab. The college Language Laboratory is known as Language Lab, with computers, 12 seats of chair with head phones. The activities adopted in the Language Lab are, opportunities for the students to hear best samples of pronunciation of Language and provides much time for oral and auditory experience. It helps the learners to learn on their own pace, it is flexible according to the individual needs of the students.

Thus, the Language Lab, works for the development of the students’ communicative skills and trains them to be an effective teacher in future.

Main Objectives of this Lab -:

  • To listen to model pronunciation, repeat and record the same and do self-assessment and correction.
  • To equip the students with good communication skills.
  • To develop their language skills, i.e., listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • To emphasize the need of communication in the technical world.
  • To train the students in the art of conversation and discussion.

The Art laboratory at Fatma Teachers’ Training College is present at the second floor of Room No. 23 of the college. The area of this laboratory is 1315.03 Sq feet. Immerse yourself in our cutting-edge Art & Craft resource room with seating capacity of 100 students there is a display to exhibit the various and-crafted work of our students, specific Tailoring and Gardening are with Swing Machines, Tools & other art material to get last output without any obstacle.

The Objectives of the Art & Craft Resource Centre

  • Arts and Crafts Lab Endeavour to equip the students with the necessary skills, creative awareness attitude, and imagination, technical knowledge to achieve creativity in the fine arts spectrum.
  • The main purpose of the fine arts room in our institution is for the overall development of students in art perception.
  • Students get an opportunity for practical work along with the trained in charge.

  • Build new forms of citizenship based on creativity and social responsibility.
